Far Cry 4 joins Xbox Game Pass for console and PC today
- Take a look at the Far Cry 4 achievements
- Platforms: Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC
- Estimate completion time: 40-50 hours
- Game Pass tiers: Standard, Ultimate, PC Game Pass
If you're jumping in for the first time, there are 50 base game achievements to unlock in Far Cry 4, which should take 40 to 50 hours to unlock, pushed to 55 hours if you pick up the Valley of the Yetis expansion for another seven achievements. While many of them are linked to the story and general map-clearing — check out our Far Cry 4 walkthrough for a hand — there are a few co-op and multiplayer achievements, so you might need to grab a friend or find a boosting session to nab those.
As a little bonus, Ubisoft rolled out a free Far Cry 4 60fps patch this week, which turns off Xbox's FPS Boost for a far better experience. FPS Boost notoriously drops a game's resolution to offer better performance, but with the game's latest patch, you should be able to explore Kyrat in a crisp 1080p/60fps.
We know the library of Xbox Game Pass games is already bursting at the seams with awesome titles to play, but will you be checking out Far Cry 4 when it drops into the service later today? Drop a comment below and let us know!
