The FIREBRAND build is a unique hybrid class build for The Elder Scrolls Online which combines the Dragonknight’s Fiery class and destruction staff skills with melee abilities from the Two-Handed skill line. If you’ve ever wanted to carry a giant, flaming sword into battle then this is the build for you!
Primary Sets
Hexos Ward is a fantastic Medium Armor set for any Solo Build in ESO due to its powerful damage shield proc.
Burning Spellwave fits the theme of this build quite well and gives us a huge buff to weapon damage as well as some extra DOT damage and sustain via the Burning Status Effect.
A Greatsword Of Agility will provide a nice boost of stats on our frontbar, or you can replace this with any Arena weapon.
Finally, Grothdarr adds to the thematic look and feel of this build by pushing out excellent AOE flame damage.

(5 items) Dealing direct Critical Damage grants you a damage shield that absorbs up to 12305 damage for 6 seconds. This effect can occur once every 7 seconds.
Burning Spellweave

(5 items) When you deal damage with a Flame Damage ability, you apply the Burning status effect to the enemy and increase your Weapon and Spell Damage by 490 for 8 seconds. These effects can occur once every 12 seconds.

Alternative Sets
For alternative gear, there are many other powerful alternatives you can use. For example, you could run a Heavy Armor set that gives you even more Weapon and Spell damage like Armor Of Truth or Warrior’s Fury. A good medium armor option that fits the fire theme of this build would be Shadow Of The Red Mountain.

Shadow Of The Red Mountain

(5 items) When you deal Critical Damage, you increase your Weapon and Spell Damage by 450 for 10 seconds. While this effect is active your Critical Strikes heal you for 100 Health. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds and the heal scales off the higher of your Maximum Magicka or Stamina.

Race
A great race for any Hybrid build in The Elder Scrolls Online is going to be Dark Elf, due to their passive weapon and spell damage as well as magicka and stamina bonuses.
